Progress and pace
There’s no “right” speed. We’ll check in regularly about what’s working, what isn’t, and adjust. The goal is steady, meaningful change that holds up in real life.
What to expect
Starting 1-to-1 support can feel daunting, especially if you’re not sure what to say or what will happen. My aim is to make the process clear, paced, and collaborative, so you feel supported from the first contact.
Before we meet
Once you book, you’ll receive a short set of questions to help me understand what you’re coming in with and what you’d like help with. If it feels easier, you can keep this brief- your story doesn’t need to be perfectly organised.
First session: getting to know your story
The first session is about getting a sense of you as a whole person: what’s been happening, what’s important to you, what you’ve tried already, and what you’d like to be different. We’ll agree a focus and start shaping a plan that feels realistic for your life, not just “ideal”.
Ongoing sessions: working together week by week
Each week we’ll review what’s been happening, notice patterns, and practise practical strategies you can apply between sessions. Sessions are collaborative and flexible: some weeks may be more skills-focused, others more reflective, depending on what you need. You’ll always leave with a small set of clear next steps; manageable actions, not overwhelming “homework”.
Keeping track with assessments
Sometimes a simple questionnaire or structured check-in can help us build a clearer picture. These are used to support understanding and track progress, not to label you. We’ll only use what feels relevant and useful.
